Our history
In the past 50 years, we have evolved from a local family business to a Swiss-headquartered international Group, always with a key focus on creating value for all our stakeholders. We started in 1974 from a single office in Chiasso offering fiduciary services. Today, with our team of around 80 people spread across various offices globally, we provide a wide range of services to our clients
Company Foundation in Chiasso
In May 1974, Giorgio Camponovo founded the original fiduciary office in Chiasso, Acofin SA, specializing in corporate consultancy, accounting and tax advisory

Stefano Joins the Family Business
After graduating in economics & finance at the university of St. Gallen and having worked as an inspector in the Department of Finance of Cantone Ticino, in 1993 Stefano joined his father Giorgio, soon taking over guidance of the Group and expanding it internationally

The Third Generation Steps in to Continue the Family Business Legacy
In 2024, Filippo, who is representing the third Camponovo generation, stepped in carrying forward the legacy with a blend of tradition and fresh vision. Prior to joining the Group, Filippo graduated from the University of St. Gallen and worked for leading international private equity and credit firms as well as for a Swiss Investment Bank Boutique
